Paul learned about quality systems over 20 years ago whilst working as an HR Executive in automotive supply chain manufacturing, where he was introduced to the Toyota Production System (total quality, kaizen, lean) for the very first time. Since then he has been developing HR systems that fit perfectly within a complete quality system framework. He briefly worked with the SHRM Taskforce looking at international HR Standards before helping to set up the UK’s Mirror Committee (TC260) with the British Standards Institute (BSI). He now chairs that committee as the UK’s Principal Expert on international HR standards.
